Roo Code becomes more powerful with Coding Plan — delivering higher efficiency and stability in project management and code optimization.
When using Coding Plan, you need to configure the Coding API instead of the General API
Step 1: Install Roo Code Plugin
1. Open Extensions Marketplace
- Launch VS Code
- Click the Extensions Marketplace icon on the left sidebar
- Enter
Roo Code in the search bar
- Find the
Roo Code plugin
2. Install Plugin
- Click the
Install button to start installation
- After installation, select “Trust the Author”
Configuration Details
Fill in the information according to the specification:
- API Provider: Select
Anthropic
- Base URL:
https://api.vibecodecheap.com/v1/ai
- API Key: Enter your VibeCodeCheap API Key
- Model ID: Enter model name (e.g.,
claude-opus-4-20250514)

2. Start Coding
Enter requirements in the input box, and Roo Code will assist with:
